Interns: Our 2026 Summer Internship programme is now open for applications. This eight-week internship is an ideal way to find out more about investment banking for the Chemicals sector. It is suited to Chemistry or Chemical Engineering students in the penultimate year of a four-year Masters programme. To find out more about the applications process, see below.
We will not consider Finance students unless they have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in Chemistry.
Graduates: The team is looking to expand and is interested to hear from high calibre, enthusiastic, self-starters with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude who are looking for a job in mergers and acquisitions. Graduates must have at least a First degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry or other natural science.
From time to time we consider Chemistry or Chemical Engineering graduates for a nine month to one year internship. This is not currently available.
Experienced hires: The team is looking to expand and is keen to interview experienced M&A bankers (at the analyst, associate and VP levels) with an interest in the chemical, biotech and cleantech industries and who have a successful professional track record of executing deals. Our Intern Programme is tailored specifically for those who are in their penultimate year, studying Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. This unique opportunity will allow you to work with others who, though now established in this sector, will remember stepping out in your shoes at the outset of their career.
Over the course of our internship programme, you will begin to use the chemical knowledge you have accumulated over your degree, in the business world. If you are someone who is thoroughly enjoying your university studies but is keen to expand your understanding of the industry and the ways that finance impacts it, then this is a perfect opportunity.
During our 8-week programme, you will experience firsthand what working in finance is really like. Our team is friendly and close-knit, and will draw on their wealth of knowledge and experience to provide you with all the support you need to gain the necessary skills to make a meaningful contribution to the day-to-day operation of the company. Our work is very varied and interesting and you will come away from the experience equipped with new skills and a ‘hands on’ appreciation of what a career in finance could really be like.
